In order to fulfill the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No.-2909 dated April 20, 2017 “On measures for the further development of the higher education system” No.-3606 dated March 16, 2018 “On measures to radically improve the mental health care system”, as well as of February 13, 2019 No. 4190 “On approval of the concept of development of the mental health service of the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2019 – 2025”, the Tashkent Medical Academy, together with the City Narcological Dispensary, organized a lecture and training “Introduction to psychotherapy” for the teaching staff of the TMA, masters and residents of TMA and other related specialties. The training took place on December 01, 2020, at the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology of the TMA.

The main goal of the master class is to disseminate advanced knowledge on the problem of psychotherapy for mental disorders, improve the interaction of doctors of various specialties in helping patients with mental disorders and doctors, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
